Week #12 marked the end of a fantastic season at Belltown Dome. Thank you to all of our players, parents, and volunteers for your dedication and support throughout the season. We hope everyone had a great time and look forward to seeing you back next season! Information and registration for our fall sessions will be sent out soon.
RECAPS
6pm - White C vs Black C
ItTeam White broke open a defensive battle in the second half to earn a 3-0 victory over Team Black. After a scoreless first half, Nolan Cooper opened the scoring to give White the lead. Nathan Di Muzio doubled the advantage with White's second goal before Axel Bodnarchuk Caron sealed the win with the team's third goal. Team White played a complete game at both ends of the floor, combining timely scoring with a strong defensive effort to record the shutout. Axel Bodnarchuk Caron was named the 1st Star, Nathan Di Muzio earned 2nd Star, and Nolan Cooper received 3rd Star honours for their offensive performances. Jasmine Williams was recognized as Player of the Game for her outstanding defensive skills, consistently breaking up plays and helping protect the shutout. Leo Lagioia was named Goalie of the Night for his excellent positioning, calm presence in net, and key saves that preserved the clean sheet.

7pm - White B vs Black B
ITeam White and Team Black put on an exciting offensive showcase that ended in a thrilling draw through regulation before a shootout. Dane Pinto opened the scoring for Team White, but Grayson Guillet answered for Team Black off a setup from Elliot Francis. Gabriel Zielinski restored White's lead with assists from Niko Riel and Sam Tse before Aron Tyldum tied the game once again, sending the teams into halftime deadlocked at 2-2. The second half featured end-to-end action as Zielinski scored again with help from Luca Palumbo, Rowan Vick responded for Black, Dane Pinto gave White another lead with an assist from Niko Riel, and Matthew Ayotte tied the game off another feed from Elliot Francis. Aron Tyldum and Grayson Guillet then scored to put Team Black ahead, but Gabriel Zielinski completed a four-goal performance by scoring twice in the closing minutes, including one assisted by Niko Riel, to force overtime. After regulation ended 6-6, Team White prevailed in the shootout to earn a hard-fought 7-6 victory.

8pm - White A vs Black A
Team White completed an incredible comeback to defeat Team Black 9-7 after trailing 5-1 at halftime. Leo Parsons got Team White on the board early with help from Harjot Vaid, but Team Black responded with five unanswered goals. Jared Madden led the charge with a four-goal performance, while Édouard Lemieux contributed a goal and two assists, and Maxwell Davis added a goal and an assist to give Black a commanding lead at the break. Team White came out flying in the second half as Leo Parsons took over offensively, finishing with six goals, including several key markers during the comeback. Harjot Vaid scored three goals and added an assist, while Tristan von Teichman recorded three assists to help spark the rally. Despite another goal from Jared Madden in the second half, Team White's relentless attack proved too much, completing the comeback to earn a thrilling 9-7 victory. Leo Parsons was named the 1st Star for his six-goal performance, Jared Madden earned 2nd Star after scoring five goals, and Harjot Vaid was the 3rd Star with three goals. Maxwell Davis was recognized as Player of the Game for his outstanding two-way play, combining strong forechecking and backchecking with exceptional ball hockey IQ throughout the game.

While stats aren’t everything, part of introducing the kids to HTBHL is giving them a taste of what our adult leagues experience. The 3 stars listed in the schedule section of the website will primarily be selected based on game statistics, just as they are in our adult leagues. That said, we’ll also highlight players from each game who may not have scored a goal, but stood out through their teamwork, sportsmanship, and effort.
