WEEKLY UPDATE

This week featured a mix of competition, with two tightly contested games and two lopsided outcomes. Two teams remain undefeated, showing strong early form. Meanwhile, two other teams are still searching for their first win. The season is starting to take shape, with clear leaders emerging. Each game continues to shift the momentum and raise the stakes.

RECAPS

Le Parlement vs Capital City Lions

CCL opened the scoring early, setting the tone for a competitive match. LP quickly responded with two goals to take a 2-1 lead. Just before halftime, CCL managed to equalize, making it 2-2 at the break. In the second half, Austin Perron dominated the field, scoring a hat trick and putting CCL up 5-2. LP closed the gap with another goal, but CCL held on to secure a 5-3 victory.

CCL – Alex Paquette – 13 shots

LP – Guillaume Auger – 25 shots

Under Achievers vs Up In The Air

Each period of the game told its own story. Alex Wittmann scored midway through the first to give UITA a 2-0 lead, while Spottswood’s strong performance in net kept UA scoreless. In the second period, UA increased their intensity, with Curtis Gravelle scoring early to spark their comeback. They maintained pressure, tying the game with eight minutes remaining and then taking the lead with just three minutes left. UA completed the comeback and secured a 3-2 victory.

UA – Mark Legari – 12 shots

UITA – James Spottswood – 25 shots

Absolute Throwers vs Raising Eyebrows

This game was a lopsided affair from the start. AT controlled the first period, with Noah Turgeon leading the charge by scoring twice, giving his team a 3-0 lead at the break. Sebastien Mercier gave RE a glimmer of hope with a quick goal right after the restart. However, AT quickly regained control, scoring two goals within a minute and adding another in the final seconds. AT dominated throughout and secured a commanding 6-1 victory.

AT – Marty Leury – 15 shots

RE – Cody Dray – 19 shots

All Dump No Chase vs Pink Pony Club

This was another one-sided game with PPC in full control. The first period saw only one goal from PPC, but they dominated possession and kept ADNC pinned in their own end. In the second period, Kent Cameron scored two quick goals to extend the lead. ADNC managed to break the shutout with a tap-in by Justin Chiarelli, but it wasn’t enough to shift momentum. PPC responded with several more goals and cruised to an 8-1 victory.

PPC – Dylan Cundell – 15 shots

ADNC – Jacob Luinstra – 26 shots
