What?
Once again we are offering a kids ball hockey program that helps foster and develop kids of all ages. The goal is to make the kids feel as comfortable as possible so they can enjoy playing while developing their skills.
Each session lasts one hour and will see the kids take part in a warmup followed by drills / skill work. From there we will make teams on the spot with the goal to make the teams as even as possible.
For all game action, there will be a ref and scorekeeper with full stats and recaps just like the adult leagues. We end each session with a shootout so every child gets the opportunity shoot.
How?
We will evaluate all kids to ensure they are playing against similar age and skill level with the ability to move kids up or down if needed while doing our best to accommodate friend requests.
When?
Every Sunday morning with the program starting after 9:30AM with the youngest kids playing first.
Starting January 25th and ending April 26th – We don’t play on any holidays or long weekends!
Where?
Hintonburg - St-Francois d’Assise Elementary School, 35 Melrose Avenue
Who?
We welcome all kids between the ages of 5-17.
*Kids that don't fall in this age group can register if their skill level allows them to fit within the group*
Kids will be divided by age / skill level to ensure parity.
Goalies are welcome as well – Just let us know when registering!
What do I need?
CSA approved hockey helmet with full facial protection, hockey stick - plastic not recommended, hockey gloves, shin pads - soccer are fine and jocks / jills are also recommended.
How Much?
Cost is $125 for 10 weeks!
