Coed Tourney - February 25th, 2012, Béatrice-Desloges

Our first ever mixed tourney was almost perfect! Games were great and much closer than most people would have expected. Every team lost at least one game, and although one team did not win, they loss both games in a shoot out.

HTBHL and Cindy Bertrand thank you all for your support at the canteen and with the raffle draw. Cindy was able to raise $436.00 for her friend and colleague diagnosed with colon cancer. Every little bit helps! HTBHL donated a Booze Basket which was won by the Flyers player Dan Ballem. A gift card was also donated from Elgin Massage Therapy, which was won by Gi'ver's Isabelle Payer

Team Giv'er were crowned champions in the end.. The quarter finals took a double overtime win, the semi-final was a tough 1-0 win and the finals was their best effort, picking up a 5-2 win over the Express. As Champions, Team Giv'er won 12 tickets to an upcoming Sens game, and the Express picked up a 100$ gift card at Jonny Canucks!
