Hat Trick Ball Hockey

A huge congratulations goes out Hull Volant, who were the A division champions at our recent tournament over the weekend. Hull Volant won both their round robin games in overtime, won their semi by 3 goals and beat a very good team in the Invaders 5-3 in the finals. Hull won over 300$ in gift cards and HTBHL shorts for their effort, while the Invaders received 90$ in gift cards for the loss. This tourney was our most competitive yet, and Hull proved to be the cream of the crop as the last team standing in a powerful division including teams like the Invaders, 69's and Godfathers. Congrats all around!

Our recent tourney also featured a B division which saw some excellent hockey. Congratulations to the Rusty Trombones for taking home the hardware. They lost their first game of the day, but won the second. They battled hard through the quarters and semis having to come back late in the latter of the two to make the finals. In those finals, they scored a buzzer beater before half time to get within one, and that seem to get them going as they scored 6 goals in the second while giving up none to beat a good Old Timers team 8-3 for the win. Old Timers walked away with 90$ in gift cards, while the champs got over 300$ in gift cards and the much talked about, black HTBHL champion shirts.
