Coed Arena Tourney - August 25th, 2012, Belltown Dome

The Coed Arena tourney was a big hit!  The weather was gorgeous, the teams were all very good, and the hockey itself was amazing. Could not ask for a better day!

The Semi-Finals provided for some good hockey, but the Finals was indeed the game of the day. Team Reid faced off against Team Lupinacci. Team Reid took a very early 1-0 lead and this was the first time all day Team Lupinacci were down. How would they deal with this? Very well. Team Lupinacci would score 3 unanswered goals to go up 3-1. Team Reid would make it 3-2, and in a dramatic fashion they would tie the game at 3 with less than a minute to go.  This baby needed overtime and while on the power play, Michel Carisse picked up a loose ball and went shelf to give Team Reid the comeback win in a well-deserved championship. Congrats to all on a very good tourney.
